Copywriter and Content Expert

I’m a copywriter and content expert with a multi-pronged approach to communications. A journalist and brand storyteller with extensive experience in newsletters, audience development, and social media, I love to tell stories of all kinds and have expertise in (and a passion for) food & beverage, lifestyle, and hospitality.

I've contributed to many outlets including Food & Wine, Bustle, Resy, The Infatuation, Hell Gate, and more. An entrepreneur myself, I launched cooking classes in 2021 and recently co wrote an ebook, Meal Prep Made Simple. A native New Yorker, I founded This Needs Hot Sauce in 2017. When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading, finding the best oyster happy hours, and taking a long walk with a good podcast.

Newsletter

This Needs Hot Sauce is where it all started. Delivered twice weekly, it’s your place to find recipes, restaurant and product recommendations and good reads. I started TNHS in 2017 while miserable at a nonprofit job. What started as an escape from the Sunday scaries now includes paid subscriptions, IRL happy hours, cooking classes, and more.

Copywriting

I create compelling, effective, clean, and brand-centric copy for clients across food, beverage, and hospitality. My multi-pronged approach includes web copy, editing, social strategy, ghostwriting, email marketing, brand development, and brand voice, depending on the client’s needs. I love helping clients feel confident in their copy and downright excited about it.

Editorial Writing

My work has been published in print & digital publications including Food & Wine, Food52, Bustle, Resy, and The Infatuation. I focus on emerging trends, brands, and talent in food, beverage, and lifestyle and am adept at adapting tone to publication's style and writing in different formats, from lists to interviews to longer form pieces.
